Beatles y Stones, fuera de la lista de bandas más influyentes

La revista británica «New Musical Express «(NME) ha elaborado recientemente una clasificación de los 100 músicos (o bandas) más influyentes del momento que no ha dejado indiferente a nadie.

El listado ha generado polémica ya que algunas de las más importantes bandas de todos los tiempos como los Beatles, los Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Daft Punk, entre otros, no forman parte de la lista.

Los primeros lugares los ocupan artistas de la talla de The Strokes, David Bowie, Kanye West y Arctic Monkeys.

Según el editor de la revista, Mark Beaumont, el criterio que se empleó para hacer la lista fue bajo la premisa de»¿quiénes son los artistas (o bandas) que más influencia han tenido en el desarrollo de la escena musical del presente?».
